GATES MILLS DESIGN AND BUILD INFORMATION

The Gates Mills Historical Society established the Landmark House and Legacy Home Programs to recognize and preserve significant homes in the Gates Mills area.

Any project that affects the exterior of a home in Gates Mills has to be approved by the architectural review board.  At a minimum a set of drawings are required to lay out the extent of the project.

Any project that is approved through the ARB will require a permit obtained through the building department of Gates Mills.  The full building process for Gates Mills is outlined here.
